To my current and future clients,
I care deeply about each and every one of you, especially my littlest clients! When you book a session with me, you can be assured that I am taking extra precautions to keep my clients safe and healthy, especially for studio sessions. In 2020, I was certified as a Master Newborn Photographer by the NAPCP. This Newborn Master Certification is awarded to photographers who demonstrate exemplary and consistent portfolios, as well as complete newborn safety courses and exams. I am fully vaccinated, including being fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19, and am up to date on my Tdap vaccination. I also receive yearly flu shots. I am now leaving it up to clients if they would like me masked for studio sessions (and outdoor sessions if clients prefer).
I require all clients upon entering the studio to take off their shoes and leave them by the door inside the studio or wear shoe covers (provided), as well as clean their hands with sanitizer (provided) when walking into the studio. Masks are now optional in the studio when clients are not being photographed. I sanitize my hands multiple times throughout the session. After the session, I wipe down all used props, headbands, newborn hats and delicate layers that cannot be washed in the washing machine with disinfectant wipes. I take home all used blankets and wraps that can be washed and wash them after every session. I also wipe down all surfaces, my couch, throw pillow, etc. after the session. My studio is also in a very low traffic building.
For outdoor sessions, as previously mentioned, I am am happy to wear a mask if clients prefer. After an outdoor session, I steam sanitize (in my dryer at home on the steam sanitize cycle) any blankets used during the session. Any props (usually just a crate or stool) that are used during an outdoor session will be wiped down/sprayed with Lysol afterward.
I truly pride myself on doing my best to keep myself and my clients safe! Please let me know if you have additional questions!
xo, Marie
